User Agreement

1. Introduction

This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of LinxEat’s services by individuals (“Users”) accessing the platform via mobile or web apps in Cameroon. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Scope of Services

LinxEat enables users to:

  • Browse and order meals, groceries, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and beverages
  • Pay securely via wallet or other supported methods
  • Track orders and communicate with vendors and Dashers
  • Access services in Buea, Tiko, Mutengene, Ombe, and Limbe

3. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal and delivery information
  • Maintain respectful communication with vendors and Dashers
  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only
  • Keep login credentials secure
  • Report issues or disputes promptly via support channels

4. Category-Specific Clauses

Meals

  • Users must review allergen and ingredient information before ordering
  • Meal freshness is subject to vendor preparation and delivery time
  • Refunds may not be issued for taste preferences or delayed consumption

Cosmetics

  • Users are responsible for checking product ingredients for sensitivities
  • Cosmetic items are non-returnable once opened
  • LinxEat is not liable for adverse skin reactions

Pharmaceuticals

  • Prescription uploads may be required for restricted medications
  • Users must confirm dosage and usage instructions with vendors
  • LinxEat does not provide medical advice or substitute professional consultation

Groceries

  • Perishable items should be inspected upon delivery
  • Users must report damaged or expired goods within 24 hours
  • Refunds or replacements are subject to vendor policies

Beverages

  • Alcoholic beverages may require age verification
  • Users must ensure proper storage upon receipt
  • Refunds are not issued for taste or temperature preferences

5. Payments & Wallet

  • Users may deposit funds into their LinxEat wallet for future use
  • Wallet balances are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by law
  • Payment disputes must be reported within 48 hours of transaction

6. Service Limitations

  • Availability of items and vendors may vary by location
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • LinxEat reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations

7. Amendments

This Agreement may be updated periodically. Continued use of the LinxEat platform implies acceptance of revised terms.

8. Digital Acceptance

By creating an account or placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this User Agreement.
